    Can anybody with a 945 based notebook confirm if the Intel Wireless N mini PCI-e can run on the 945 chipset (I have the 3 wire antena)?

    Can somebody at least reply if they use any 945 chipset mobile with Intel 4965AGN wireless link, if so what make model of card and notebook?

    I'm asking because I have a chance to get one pulled from a PM965 based unit to use on my 945GM based machine.

    I guess I'm answering my own post again.

    YES it upgraded fine and even upto the 5100 to date and testing the 5350 shortly.

    Yes. My intel ProSet Wireless card works dine on my 945G chipset
    My mistake it is not 4965 it is 3965
