    Can someone confirm that this setup will work?

    1) VGA to to external LCD
    2) HDMI to external LCD (extended, NOT clone)
    3) Laptop LCD off

    I've been searching around... and i've seen people claim it works and not knowing what they're talking about.

    I need to be sure... it's make it or break it for me.

    A pic would be nice!

    Thanks

    Well, it should work... I've tried DVI+VGA before, but not VGA+HDMI

    These gaming video cards don't come with 2xDVI, 2xVGA, or DVI&VGA on laptops.

    This is the closest i've seen to getting a gaming laptop with the possibility of 2 external displays (which is really important to me as a professional programmer).

    IF anyone could confirm this, or confirm that it can't be done, please let me know.

    well i can confirm its possible using VGA plus HDMI to DVI adapter... I dont see why VGA and HDMI wouldn't work.

    cheers

    Can you provide a pic of it all hooked up?

    I really want to see it, cause i'm having trouble believing it with all these other threads saying it doesn't work ...

    I have a DVI->hdmi cable... but i'm worried this won't work.
