    i am worried about my asus g50vtx5 i have win 7 64 bit latest nvidia driver and latest dox tried both but just 5 7 minutes into the game temps reach over 100c no over clocking done on gpu cpu is running 2.4 with set fsb temps are normal gpu idles at 60 65 usally! i know its dagerous temps that high! i dont game alot but when i played cod4 cod5 temps never got higher than 85 87 c i reinstalled my os and mw2 twice with the same problems please help i dont want to kill my x5 i love it!!!!!! i even have the laptop angled up a little for more airflow it always kept my laptop cooler when playing games!! the game runs great just high temps!!! thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

    Depending on how old it is, dust may have accumulated in the vents which can reduce airflow and increase heat. If that is the case, I suggest you buy a can of compressed air, open your laptop, and blow out all the dust.

    I Just Got It 5 Months Ago Thats Not The Problemn Its Only Cod Mw2 That Does It

    When did you play COD 4 or 5? Few months ago?
    As NAS Ghost said, dust may have accumulated in the vent, especially if you never clean the vent.

    I was seeing ridiculous temps of 107c while playing Borderlands, popping the bottom off and blowing out the dust bunnies has me down at a much more manageable 85c.
