was it worth flashing my 9800m gs to gts? How much damage could this cause later on if any? On crysis warhead i get 20-22 fps on natice reso an everything on gamer. But in a heated battle i get around 14-19 Anyone try this game yet on an x5??

hi im also very interested in this topic.

Not every GS can handle GTS clocks with full stability, but most can.
Be careful playing in a hot room though, as that can push gaming temps just enough that it starts glitching. -
Well, I am not sure how much damage it could incur, as the card was manufactured, in the very beginning, to handle such voltage and all, but the heat might get to it if it is too much.
I have been using the flashed to GTS for a long while now and I haven't experienced anything bad at all. I was glitching in crysis at first, but that was driver-related and got fixed with a driver update.
You can try it if you want, or just accept your performance level and be happy with itI don't game much lately due to work and college, but when I do I enjoy the extra boost in performance, and I sure as hell don't have plans for further overclock. I personally think the GT-> GTS is not much of an overclock since it is like 10% O/C barely, and there are people that push it MUCH higher, like 950mhz memory etc.

Your warheadxscores are normal. When i had the bestbuy g50vt-x5, i played crysis on 1680x1050 native res. It just doesnt workout. It was unplayable. What i did was, turn down res to 1440x900. Mainstream post processing. Shadows, and water particlea and motion blur. That gave me more boost on fps and performance. And it was really playBle

Its without the overclock yet. There is a guy that almost broke 13k on 3dmark06 with hd4850 single card. Hia name is tester.
