It's to my understanding that the turbocache only takes system RAM when it needs it. Does this then mean that the harder you push it (for instance selecting more high quality options in a game) it can perform better?

I've noticed that my G1 does not seem to perform as well as other's. I can barely run STALKER with low settings and sometimes Oblivion stutters where before it did not. I use DriverMAX to update all my drivers and they are all updated as well as my games and I feel that by being so conservative with my game options that I'm not pushing the turbocache to want to draw on the system memory.

    Any pointers would be great.

Your G1S performance issues is likely caused by heating problems that many G1S users have been facing. Search the ASUS forum for further discussion of information on this issue.

download hwmonitor and monitor your temps

if they reach anywhere near 96 degrees, send it in for repair

(hint, tab out of the game and look at the max temp)

What would be considered acceptable temperatures?
Running at desktop puts me at 70-80 degrees Celsius pretty much across the board.
