I'm looking at the Asus F8Sn, just hoping That some of you who have, or have had, one could write about how you liked it!

(Or if you don't own one but have heard something important/interesting, that's cool too!)

    Thanks!

If you haven't yet checked out the reviews, you can read up on it here and here.

Ah. You'd think I'd have noticed those!

I'd still like to hear from an owner if possible! I'm wary because the price seems to be too cheap for such specs.

Asus is putting a lot of effort these days into producing (relatively) inexpensive systems with higher specs. The tradeoff seems to be the potential build quality of the F-series and the (seriously) low battery life compared to comparable mWh batteries in similar spec'd systems. You can read about these more if you scan the first few pages of the forum listings, as these threads are pretty active recently.

Their new systems are pretty good deals price per spec, but there are going to be tradeoffs that you'll need to be comfortable making.

While I don't have an F8SN, I do have an F8SA which is basically the same thing only different CPU's and GPU's. But as far as the build quality and performance go it's an excellent bargain. Battery life isn't so hot, but if I wanted long battery life I would've gotten something else.
