    Hey,
    will opening my g50vt-a1 to clean up the fan, void my warranty?

    The only way you void your warranty is if you remove that yellow "do not remove" sticker located on your heatsink.

    Yes, what Forge said is true; however, it is often quite difficult to clean the radiator fins if the fan is not removed. If you want to keep your warranty, I'd suggest using compressed air and blow from the outside into the vent to clean the radiator.
