Should you be interested, this was posted on Notebook Forums, so I'm just passing it along

 

.... thanks... well I wouldn't visit NBF if you paid me (no offense), so thanks for the repost. You can tell the guy that our build/test time is 5 business days and at this point in the year, we're taking basically every day....... typically, we get about 4 times the orders between Thanksgiving and the middle of January than we get during the best month we have all year...... so that's pretty busy.

... just incase this was a holiday gift question, the last day to order a custom notebook to receive it by Christmas would by the end of the day on the 13th (via FedEx 2Day). Now some systems may get done sooner, and ground shipping may get to you in 1-2-3 days... but to get delivered by Friday December 23rd, it's a good rule of thumb.

... at the same time, the 20th is about the last day you could order an in-stock Ensemble and get it in time (again, via FedEx 2Day)
