    I'm not talking about the resolution here, assuming 1024x768 is decent.

    What do you think about the quality compared to famous brands (HP, Dell..)?

    Like most things in life you get what you pay for. The A2 series is a well priced budget performace machine. Thus don't expect a screen that will make your jaw drop. It will do its job as well as any other notebook in that price range, at that resoultion. But it won't be a sony Xbrite or fujitsu crystal view. If screen quality is a major concern try the ASUS L5 with ACE view.

    For the price, I think it's great. It's bright, it's sharp, and mine came with no dodgy pixels. What more could you want? [ :D]
