    Hi,
I really don't know who I can contact.
I've a problem with my A2D. After less than a year it doesn't work unless AC.
And always using the AC for a notebook is not useful.
The Asus Helpdesk told me the only thing I can do is to change the battery.
Has anyone had the same problem?
How can I be sure the problem is just the battery? And not the internal or external alimentation?
    The battery recalibration fails.
The led on the pc never shows that it is charging the battery.
I've not found any Asus reseller with a notebook of the same model in order to do any tests.
I live near Milan, is there anyone who lives nearby and would be available for such a test?

    Thank you very much,
    A.

maybe the problem is the battery. i gess. The battery of a notebook as a period of life for about 1 year. If u use it very often, course. I gess that your notebook model (a2d) has that period of existence and probably thats the cause for your problem. If u don“t found any resseler of asus in italy, try to import the battery.

Asus has a great office right in Milan and my honestly be the best place to get it tested. It's possible the battery is dead, there is a reason warranties on batteries are only a year. The battery recalibration is not for the purpose that you're using it for and that's why that didn't help.

If you need something, please contact me directly. I know we've got some extra A2 batteries around here if Asus Milan doesn't.
