Perfect quality audio but after about 3 mins it stops! Have downloaded latest driver and checked every setting I can think of but problem persists - any ideas anyone?

Have you noticed any common denominators, such as it happening during specific applications (e.g. streaming music or videos, playback of locally stored media, etc.)? Also, do you notice it on both the internal speakers and any external audio devices? Or is it just one or the other?

Thanks for the questions. It happens on any application using the internal speakers, and it cuts out at different times (but always between 0.59 and 4.5 mins). It works perfectly well with headphones.

    Thanks artegirl.

The only instance I've experienced similar to this had to do with a particular version of Flash player. Have you tried removing the audio driver and running things off of the Windows native driver?
