So the webcam on my A52F ASUS notebook is apparently installed upside, or something, so the video shows upside down. I'm apparently not the only one with this problem.

For some with the Chicony webcam, they can change some settings in the driver's .inf file before installing it and the webcam will go back to right-side up. But I have the Azurewave AM-VB008 webcam and there is no such luck for it.

Well after hours of going through the registry searching for values, making my own values, editing driver .inf files, and installed and reinstalling other drivers, I finally found one that works. If you go to ASUS's support website and look up the drivers for the K60IJ, there are a couple of Azurewave webcam drivers. I downloaded the first one here (V5.8.53120.203), and it worked!! My Azurewave AM-VB008 webcam no longer shows images upside-down!

So I wanted to post this information here to help other A52F owners.

More good news, after installing the drivers mentioned in the previous post, now, like others, you can find the "Flip" DWORD entries in the registry under

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}\0000\Settings or DefaultSettings

You can set the Flip DWORD to 1 or 0 to change it, and no restart is required to see the results.
