We're most likely going to get the A7vc as a 17" barebone by mid to late September. I doubt we'll see the A5, but a barebone W1vc is something not set to come but we're working on that one personally..... time frame would be about the same.

No, I didn't say that's a barebone W2... it's an entirely different model all together. The A7 model that was initially talked about back in April was going to be a Turion --- which wouldn't be the "vc" ... it'd be a "k" most likely...... but we've got to see how that plays out. Internationally Asus has seen how the 17" Sony's/Apple's have done and the sales of the W2 has been really good in Europe.... They've got the screens now and they have some designs, so they're going to try to bring them in. Nothing is final.

The W2 still hasn't left Taiwan yet, so it's still far from here.... Speaking of, about half of the first 40 are pre-ordered.

When they leave Taiwan it takes 1 week to get to port....... 1 week to get from there to Asus to us. Then figure 1 week before it's in their hands. That's rough and very conservative, but it's really all in when they leave Taiwan.
