What's the difference between these 2 models? The specs seem to be the same!

    Any reviews on either?
Any comparisions to be made between these models and the Acer TM 8204?

A6J = has ATi x1600 card, is a 15.4 widescreen, is primarily constructed of ABS plastic, significantly thicker and bulkier.

V6J = has Nvidia Go 7400, is a 15" standard screen (possibly matte from the pics shown), has carbon fiber and aluminum, one of the thinnest notebooks in it's class (along with Samsung). most likely pricier.

Nothing is wrong with civics. They are well built reliable quick little cars. but you wouldnt compare it to a say a bmw even if it was just as fast would you. that was my only point

    Thanks, Goren!

Found a review of the A6J at Hexus, seems it's getting about 600 less 3dmarks than the 8200 (3500 vs 4100) even though they have the same CPU and X1600 graphics card... Lower res screen too.

Thanks for that, Goren. The differences are clearer with this than when trying to compare Civics with BMWs and Aston Martins.

I just meant from a quality fit and finish perspective. People normaly interested in say a V6Va costing 2 grand arent going to be looking at an a series costing 1grand. Two different classes of laptop.

Have you ever seen what's under the skin of BMW 3 series? It's worst than civic! The shell sure looks better though.
