Wondering if anyone can help me out...

After hooking up my A6J to my TV through the s-video connection I can't display anything on the laptop's LCD. It's powered on (through Fn+F7 I can see when it's off and on) but doesn't display anything.

It seems that the Laptops LCD just isn't recognized anymore... if I hook up anything external (through DVI, VGA or TV) it works fine, however no image is passed to the laptop's LCD when I try to switch with Fn+F8.

Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas?

btw: I update to the latest NVIDIA drivers but the problem persists...

    Thanks!

Are you trying to run images on both the LCD and TV at the same time? That's not possible - the gpu can only output to one line at a time.

Or is the problem that the LCD doesn't work after you disconnect the s-v and try to Fn switch the output?

Yup, LCD doesn't work after I disconnected the TV and tried to switch output to the laptop's LCD.

A silly suggestion -- have you tried to switch the output to lcd while the TV is still connected, before pulling the s-v plug out?

Instead of the Fn key shortcut, try to go through the Nvidia COntrol Panel, right click on the desktop and go from there. u'll get the main screen to detect the displays that are hooked up to the PC. for dual Displays sometimes the shortcut Fn key isn't enough, that's to my experience anyways...
