    Hi! :)

I want to upgrade my A6Jc from Core Duo T2300 to Core Duo T2700
I'm not sure how many pins are in my socket, I thought that there are 478.

I've found on ebay an offer (AU$269.99)
    "Intel Core DUO Yonah T2700 2.33G 2MB 667 SL9JP 479M CPU"

I guess its for 479 pins..

Could someone who has a6jc advise me please?

ps. I have downloaded some user manual from asus website, but they didn't list processors..

Your T2300 has a Micro-FCPGA socket (ie 479). The T2700 should work just fine.

    Thanks David!

I've found cpuz and it indeed says that :)

I've also read some posts about upgrading from T2300 to core 2 duo..

Is there anything better than T2700 what could I put inside? I mean would there be a cpu much faster than T2700?

I use my laptop for some math computations.
