    Wondering if this will ever hit North America. If it will, eventually, I'd pick it over the z70v probably. Otherwise, i like the 70 much more than the 71

    Probably not, according to Justin from ProPortable. Makes sense, though, as Asus already has the Z71v in the US 'performance-mainstream' segment, and probably wouldn't want to compete directly with it's own barebook resellers by bringing in an ensemble that would attract the same customers in a similar price bracket.

    Right - as I said before, they brought over the A6 in a turion form in the A6u... and in a cheap centrino form in the A6ne... the A6va is high end and it would be in the same ballpark as the barbeone W1 that asus wanted to bring in..... Granted the W1 is a nicer machine, that would sell better..... they are most likely to bring that in rather than the A6va.
