Well I've had my Z92U (A6u) for about three months now and its been going well all along.

Well to cut to the chase I've always wondered why my 4400mAh battery only seems to have a capacity of 3900mAh when checked with a program called battery monitor. which also shows that the battery should be able to take a charge up to 4601 mAh (designed capacity). In centrino hardware controller it's always said that my batty has had 5% ware which would sound right for 3900/4400 mAh. But its only 3 months old and I dont use it that much and always give it full charges.

Well the other day I bought a A6vc for my girlfriend and it uses the very same battery, down to the same serial number. but i noticed that its battery lasts very long. Well I checked it was centrino hardware controller and sure enough its capacity is the full 4400mAh and has 0% ware.

Well I swapped the batteries around and well now I get about 30minutes more life out of my A6U.

so my question is, do you think that this warrents a replacement battery? And will Asus replace it based on this info?

oh I live in New Zealand just in case you're wondering.

    thanks for any input

    can you help justin?
