Hey,
I search for a bit on this forum but couldn't find anything about this. So I made a new thread.
I was wondering if I upgrade to Windows 7, will the Vista drivers work with 7? For instance, such as the volume, brightness, bluetooth, and wireless shortcuts. If not, where will I get them or is it even possible? Are there some drivers that won't work? If so, what are they?
I was just asking before I create a hassle for myself.
Thanks a lot,
John

Vista drivers should work on 7. Audio can be different though. You can get anything from the device manufacturer's website.

All Vista drivers may not work under Win7.
I think most of the shortcuts you mentioned are controlled by ATK utilities and Wireless Consule.
These should work as far as I know, because the ATK utility is common among all ASUS notebooks and there is already ATK Driver package for Win7 available.
Latest version of Wireless Consule works also fine under Win7.
You will find many of the things you are looking for here:

If not you can ask in that forum and you will get most of the drivers if available for Win7.
The owner of the forum works for ASUS.
It's Germany Forum Treiber mean Drivers.
That's where I got all my M50VM win7 drivers.

Thanks for you help guys, but:
Have anyone actually tried to install Windows 7 on a Asus A8? I have a A8JS just to be more specific.
A8 Series upgrading to Windows 7, drivers question!
