Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good carrying case/bag for my A8jr. The one that comes with it is okay, but not very secure, and is opened to potential rain/snow getting in.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, I use a "Case Logic" rucksack, excellent quality, 2 year guarantee and my A8JS fits as sung as a bug in it. Really comfortable as well as I often carry 6-7 kg of .... Im not sure really .... hey, but I carry it around with me. Try here .../ http://www.caselogic.com/sporty_laptop_backpack/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=44260

If you need a backpack, I have been very satisfied with Osprey Focus. The notebook fits there perfectly and there's plenty of space for books and other stuff.
Here's the review for it: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3015 -
Thanks guys... looking for more of a briefcase-look type of bag.
Any other suggestions? -
If you don't mind using the original bag, you might want to consider getting a neoprene sleeve to go along with it. When I got my A8JP from Newegg, I got one of those combo deals for a free Mobile Edge sleeve. It fits pretty well into the original bag and gives your NB the extra protection it needs.
The sleeve itself is pretty cheap, too. EDIT: Cheap in price, that is. The sleeve itself is high quality with lots of padding.

I use one of these http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-COMPACT-DUO-CASE-62341/dp/B0002UHUUG
for my A8Jm
it fits in perfectly, but not with much elsethe front pocket could stand being bigger.. i usually just put the whole sleeve into my backpack or other bag.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may go with the sleeve as a temporary measure.
Anyone know of a leather one thats made for a 14.1", most I see are 15.4". The 14.1 will fit in it, but the snugger the fit, the better.
A8J Carrying case/bag suggestions?
