I ordered the AJ8M and heard you can connect the laptop to the TV and watch movies and such. Does the laptop come w/ the cord that allows you to do that or do you have to buy it seperately? I think its called DVI out or something.

Well, you can either use DVI or S-Video cable, and it doesn't come with either :) (well, there's this semi S-Video cable that you need to buy another extension for it... )

You have to buy a tv out adapter. You can get it at radio shack or some other tech store. .
    DVI>VGA>S-video

? Adapter? I thought we'd only need the DVI cable since there's already DVI port in the A8Jm ?

you dont need an adapter. you need either a dvi cable if you have an HDTV. or a s-video cable. the only time you would need an adapter is if you want to use a tvs VGA port. then you would get an dvi to vga adapter.

i connected to teh AV port of my tv. I had to buy a mini to right and left channels for my audio. And a video extension cable. Cos the one that comes with the A8J is a svideo to regular video out.

And then i had to play around with the settings for a long time before i could get it to work but eventually it did, and its not so bad :)
