Does anyone else have any issues with the A8JM corrupting their USB storage devices? I have a USB flash drive and several USB HDD enclosures and my A8JM sometimes corrupts the data and file systems on them. I have a desktop as well as a Dell XPS 1710M and neither of those have ever corrupted any of the USB drives. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens about once every 3 times I use the A8JM with a USB drive. The system is stable and I don't seem to have any issues with the internal laptop HDD. Anyone have any ideas?

That quite unusual. So far ive used 3 different USB devices (two sandisks and one kingston) on the a8jm and two desktops with no such problem.

Make sure that under the 'properties' -> 'policies' tab for the drive in Device Manager, it is set to 'optimize for quick removal'

Or make sure to use "safely remove hardware" in the system tray before removing the devices - I think that's a bit safer.

Are you taking out the USB devices properly (ie, use Safely Remove Hardware before removing them?).. sometimes that can be the cause of corruption

Edit: NrBelex beat me to this :)

Yep I always right click on the taskbar icon and stop the devices. I have never corrupted a drive on my other computers before but the A8JM has done it to me several times.
