    Do you have the options of higher resolutions than the 1440x900 native of the built in screen when using an external monitor that's capable of more?

    I'm sure you do but would just like some verification and maybe an example of the x1700 handling a 22"+ screen easily.

    Yup, I can confirm it. Just hooked up my A8JP to an HP f2304 24" LCD Monitor. The x1700 drives it through DVI at it's native 1920x1200, no problem at all!

    The only gripe I have -- I cannot configure the A8JP and the external monitor to display different wallpapers. It was so easy with Nvidia :(
