I'm looking forward to some benchmark scores of the x2300 though thery're probably going to be pretty disappointing.

Wow guys... this is seriously not worth it. You get a huge downgrade in the CPU and possibly the video card and only save $50 over the a8jp. Don't even bother with this one.

    Yeah, seriously.
The only plus is the 1GBx1 memory spec.

Just saw this over at NCIX for us canada users, they are taking orders. It is considerably cheaper then the alternative A8JS, and I don't need the faster CPU. Once I find out if milestone is carrying this laptop, and can upgrade the memory for me, I think I will jump on it!
Anyone know if it also has a 2 year warranty, because that would be perfect.

Meh. I doubt the X2300 is gonna be superior to the X1700, other than its DX10 compatibility. Not worth it.

First of all, the x2300 will only be dx9, not dx10. Secondly it's pretty much just a remake of the x1300 except that it uses less power.

lmao @ up to 896 hyper memory, I would like to know how that works because with 1gb of ram and you're gaming that would basically bottleneck your ram?

Im not certain why there would be any limit to hypermemory.

Ill wait until the stats come out but the x2300 should be like the ati x1450.... which i also really dont have any stats on because only asus computers have that as well and no one owns those.

There was an a8j with x1450 sold in asia this is the replacement for that one.

i'm not too familiar with notebook grpahic cards in terms of how they are released but isnt this a next gen card? even if it is underpowered the ability to utilize dx10 should be significant i believe.

but yeah downgrade in cpu :T no thanks
