I have a new A8JS, 024C model. I'm just thinking about HD upgrade down the road. It's seems that it only have ATA interface according to the manual but the new 050E refresh shows a 160 SATA HD, did they change the mobo? It looks like the biggest ATA HD is a 160GB with the 200GB all shown to be SATA. So is 160GB the limit for the 024C?

I think your HDD is SATA.
Use HDTune (it's a free utility that you can download) to make sure.

Cool thanks, guess I'll be keeping an eye out for a 200GB when they drop below $150.

I would be quite hesitant to move down to a 4200 rpm drive. I know I want as much space as I can get on a hard drive, which is why I have a 160GB 5400 rpm drive. But I would at a minimum consider only drives that are at least as fast. Still, it's nice to see the larger drives hit the market; now for the faster ones...
