    A8JS fresh XP Pro install help

    I'll be getting my A8JS with Vista tomorrow and will probably wipe the drive and install a fresh copy of XP Pro, I have already gone to ASUS wedsite and downloaded all the latest XP drivers but there are a whole bunch of them. I know that stuff like LAN, Modem, VGA, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN, Touchpad, Card Reader, FIR, Camera and Audio are needed but there are also another bunch like ATK Media, ATK0100, COMS_CH, Lifeframe, Multiframe, RICHO, P4G, UAA and a bunch of Hotfixes that I don't know if I need?

    Have anyone elese gone thru this and if so, can you give me a list of the dirvers that you installed? Thanks in advance.

    On my A8Jm...which has all the same drivers..

    I installed...

    all of the ones u listed as needed...
    and

    ATK0100, ATKOSD2, ATK_HOTKEY which makes for nice fancy menu for hotkeys's and such.

    The other stuff is really REALLY useless....make sure to install the Intel Chipset INF patch too...available on intel's site (for SATA/IDE and USB driver updates).

    And get the newest WiFi drivers for the 3945ABG....i believe it is version 11.1...

    i used the rest from the asus download section...works perfectly and makes my machine flyyyyy
