hmm i dont know but I like to download...movies haha and uhh I go to a private torrent site and our downloads are always always fast but for some reason everything has slowed down. I used Utorrent and uh i use to be able to surfe the net fast even when i was downloading now it seems to be taking a bit. Maybe this isnt a Asus problem but just wondering the possiblities.

Your ISP may not be so happy with your "activities." I have read on the net that the MPAA and RIAA's are sending letters to the ISP's with cease and desist orders for movie downloaders. It's quite possible that you have gotten their attention for one reason, downloading movies uses a lot of bandwidth.

Yup, your ISP may be bandwidth shaping all P2P traffic... have you tried another machine (desktop) with your connection?

How about your Windows (or Zone Alarm, etc) firewall settings? High download speeds are dependent on uploading as well... what's your outgoing torrent traffic like?

Kill Windows firewall and see. It was limiting my download speed and I can't multitask well either (getting slow response from browser and getting dropped from online games). Once I turned it off, everything works just fine again. Do make sure you have hardware firewall on router and an active AV scan program though.
