I've read quite a few reviews that mentioned the massive stickers that come on it.

Would I be able to simply remove them? Or would I need some sort of solvent?

Note: This is for the A8JS-4S024P model

Solvents are generally not advised to be used on a notebook, I think those stickers are like any other stickers, probably easy to remove without a trace left behind.

You can use a blowdryer to heat the plastic off.

Alternatively you can just peel them off then use "Goo Gone". Personally, I just peel and rub away whatever's left behind.
