    A8Jc hard drive speed?

    Was wondering if anyone knows what the HD speed is on the Asus A8Jc? I have asked a couple of retailers here in the UK, but they don't seem to know.

    I think it is 4200rpm.

    Here In Taiwan it is 5400RPM. But It really depends on where you are. I'm not sure about the UK.

    European version has 4200RPM, I recommend you Seagate 5400.3 - It's quiet and very fast

    Thanks for the info. I'm presuming it should be pretty straightforward to change the hard drive?

    Oh, if I do that will there be any warranty issues?

    It is a Fujitsu 5400rpm with 8MB cache in Canada.
