I just installed Windows 7 on my Asus A8Jm. Since my Owner's Lounge is pretty much dead I figured a main forum post could help.

Upon installing Windows update only found a 1 ASUS driver (ATK) and my graphics card driver. I do not have any drivers for the hot keys (Fn functions, volume, touchpad disability, etc). Also it seems my volume also does not work.

I am downloading a Realtek driver from their website (i am fairly certain i used a realtek in XP) but that download is going to take a awhile.

Asus does not have any W7 drivers available on its website (only for Vista). Would those work for Windows 7? Would I be able to use another Asus brand laptop W7 drivers for my laptop?

I just solved the issues. Turns out the Vista 32bit drivers do indeed work and you have to manually install all of them.
