Hi everyone! I was wonderin' if there is, perchance, a PDF or something with servicing instructions for ASUS' A8Jm laptop.

I got mine today and need to switch in a faster hard drive and add another stick of RAM -- so if such PDF does not exist could anyone give me tips of just which screws I need to get at? Or, hell, even tell me which compartment the RAM's in, or if I need to take some screws out from under the keyboard to get at the stuff below? I've noticed that a number of the compartments take a bit of force to get into, so I want to be sure I have all the needed screws out so nothin' snaps.

    Thanks!

There is a sticky at the top of the forum with a page on how to disassemble all the Asus notebooks, yours should be there. Watch the video and you will know exactly what to do.

Thank you both, that link was tremendously helpful. I did read the FAQ, I didn't realize that mine would be similar to any of the ones listed there, though. I'll stick with the PDF for now -- thanks again!
