The LCD has red horizontal lines all across it. This problem does not exist on an external monitor, only on the LCD. I removed the video card today and plugged it back in. This did not fix the issue. What else do you guys or gals think it could be? I use this laptop 9 hours a day at work. I'd like to fix it instead of send it in for warranty if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance!

If it shows during POST as well (bootup process) it's definitely hardware, namely LCD/inverter board or whatever else. In that case, I'm not sure you can fix it yourself... At the very least you will void your warranty, and will have to pay for (possibly very expensive, if we're talking the LCD) parts yourself.
