After installing Vista x64, it seems there is no fan control. The CPU fan stays locked at whatever setting it is on at boot, which creates a problem on a cold boot since the fan is off or low and after a while it heats up and the laptop automatically will shut off. This was not a problem while using vista x32. I've installed the ATK drivers and am running bios 2.13.
I've seen other threads with the same problem, but no definitive solution. Any help?

Hm... I'm not sure this is a cpu sensor issue, I found this thread that seems to imply it's a nvidia driver issue under vista...

Also, what is your setting in the BIOS, do you have the setting enabled for the auto fan speed (I forget what it's called... uhg) -
Can you confirm that this is temperature related? Try use Rivatuner to monitor your GPU temps. Also check with speedfan and make sure it's not any other hardware that's overheating. If it's the GPU, my suggestion is to use another 64bit driver.
