    Gday guys,
    Just noticed that http:// www.p4laptops.com.au now have the A8Js listed. It is $2850 base and $3200 with 2gb ram. Looks good and has the Bluetooth that people have been complaining about.

    It's expensive, but a beast of a machine.

    I do hope New Zealand distributers will soon be doing the same...

    EDIT: I private messaged a couple of NBR kiwis earlier about this but seeing ive made this pointless post i might as well make it slightly less pointless...Would any fellow New Zealanders who are reading this thread know any info about the A8Js or A8Jp being sold in New Zealand? ETA, price, specs, bluetooth yes or no etc??

    Im keen as a bean to buy one...

    I think the guys at P4 are doing pre-orders at the moment. I don't believe the A8Js is being released in Australia until early-mid November... they still have stocks of the A8Jm they're trying to clear locally.

    Yeah i noticed this the other day...im looking in for a new laptop and i check there frequently. They seem to usually have the latest products/hardware, though im guessing the price might be slightly inflated due to the recent release of the A8Js...i hope that they will come down. Personally im waiting for a 15.4 update from Asus.

    Buying laptops in AU sucks :(

    Yup. From the 10 or so distributers i emailed they are the only ones that sound like they will be getting it in the immediate future;

    "A8JP not available in NZ, and Asus NZ is getting them in but not sure the date yet, but we are looking at between 2 to 5 weeks time."

    So its good that one company will be selling them at least!
