I am having problems with the LCD screen. There are blue streaks that flicker. I can see everything it seems blurry. Especially when there is a white blank screen, the blue constantly flickers. Is there anything I can do fix this?

If this was a recent problem, my first guess would be that the cable between your LCD and motherboard has become loose. You can try and tighten the connection and see if that solves the flickering issue.

Do you by any chance know the layout of the MB? I have never taken a look at a laptop's MB.

It is a very subtle blue flickering. Sometimes it reverts back to normal but for only seconds.

I am very frustrated with this issue. I have tired reformatting the hard drive, reinstalling the vga drivers but the issue is within the computer. Is there anyway I can send it back to Asus to get it repaired?

Unfortunatley I don't have the dissemble guide to the A8Js notebook. You can send it to Asus for repairs, but i'm guessing it's out of warranty and you'll probably have to pay for all shipping and repair costs. If you're in the US, you can call 510-739-3777 or fill out the RMA form:

I just talked to them and I guess my warranty does not run out until April. :D So, I am going to send it back for repairs with free shipping. Thanks, David.
