    Hi all,

This is issue is easy to demonstrate in person, but hard to describe. When I press the "6" key, the keys adjacent to it lower a bit. It's not a solid press; it's flimsy around that area. How do I make it solid?

Can't really change that. Maybe you could put something under the keyboard to make it a bit more stiff, but that problem is common to laptops.

Oh. maybe when they installed the keyboard, one of the screws were loose? If you want, take the keyboard out and look underneath for any loose screws.

I'm supposing it's loose screws because ASUS keyboards don't have major problems with keyboard flexing. If you want, like Laum said, put a solid piece of plastic under the keyboard to make it solid.

Some have put double-sided tape under their keyboards to stabilize it a bit. But does that little bit of flex bother you or slow down your typing?

Mine was flexing around the TAB key area and that made a flappy noise every time I hit a key there. So that was quite annoying but I had it fixed by Asus.
I haven't looked under the keyboard what they did with it, but probably the easiest thing is to fold a thin piece of paper and tape it under the flexing area.
