Its only been less than two weeks, but my a8jm already has a stuck pixel (i think its stuck, not there on red and blue, but there on green). First a heads up to anyone else considering it, though pixels are really case-by-case. Curently running that program that flashes RGB over and over again. Anything else i should be doing?

They said if you gently rub it why watching that video it can help. Nothing more you can really do.

The flashing RGB is the only thing I think you can do. It seems to fix stuck pixels around 50% of the time. Just be sure to run it for 24-48hrs. And does anyone know Asus' policy on dead / stuck pixels?

I can't believe you just said "G rated" in a public forum...that's going way too far, especially for a moderator :)

If you plan on taking SRD's advice, be warned... I have it on good authority that he also has a 8ms response time. ;)

I'm gonna pay for that, I'm sure...

yeah their policy depends on what notebook, ie, if its got the zero dead pixel warranty or not. If not it has to meet certain requirements

the screen is devided into sections, there has to be either two adjacent bright/stuck pixels to be concidered damaged.

    or
I think there needs to be 7 bright pixels or 9 dead ones anywhere on the screen

    or
there has to be 3 bright pixels within a 3cm radius.

I'll get the exact deffinition when i go to work tomorrow. They ASUS made the point of sending the policy to us a few times after we sent notebooks with only a few damaged pixels... yes the notebook came back un-fixed.
