So it seems that my new a8jp is prone to some hibernation issues...in that it does not want to stay in hibernation and wakes itself up about 2 secs after going into hibernation.

I read the W3j hibernation thread, and was unable to come away with a clear answer, though i did try 1-2 things, namely diabling p4g for power control, and setting the hdd timeout to never on the profile that I was using. Still no go.

can anyone try and help here? I'm just going to shut er down for the night I guess....I'm a huge fan of hibernate and hate having to reboot.

    TIA!

If you don't mind telling us exactly what you've tried to fix this issue.

Here's a link that may help: *hotfix*
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330909

    Try a Bios update

    Another link to the Hotfix:
Click Here you can download it through here aswell.

Others are recommending reinstalling windows, but in my opinion that would be overkill for now, try these solutions, and I do agree, I use hibernate all the time. I love it.
