    A8js Wireless not turning on

    hi i have a A8js with windows 7, W/bluetooth. my wireless was working in the morning and then all of a sudden in the evening the wireless would not turn on, it keeps showing an x where the signal would normally be whenever i try to turn it on it turns off again. i have uninstall the driver and reboot and the same thing. thanks in advance. :confused: :confused:

    Maybe you should try to reinstall the drivers after you have installed the Wireless console 3.
    Sometimes, ASUS suggests that one installs Wireless Console before intalling the drivers.

    I know this sounds cheasy, but did you try to cycle thru all the Fn+F2 (I think, its the wireless icon..) modes to make sure its enabled there too? My Aj8 used to get stuck with the device not enabled.. odd though maybe try disabling and then enabling the wifi device in device manager.. you dont need all the wireless console btw, just load the drivers and the windows wireless works ok on its own.. saves some memory
