    A8js camera problem

    i just got the a8js, its an amazing laptop but with one problem, theres sum weird box of pixels when i use the web cam

    heres a sample. i got it from ncix, will this count as a DOA?

    It might be just like that due to the lighting... what happens when you increase the ambient light of the room?

    Check to see if the camera has a clear film on it. I know my S96J did, so you may want to try that and see,

    how do u do that

    its the same with more light, its like theres a box of pixels in the capture area

    Mine had the same type of protective film that cel phones have when they are new, so try with your finger nail and see if something is there,

    On the plus side, it'll be handy if you ever become a fugitive on the run and need to broadcast revolutionary webcam messages to the world.

    are you sure the lens is clean? if the lens is clean and it's still getting that problem, then maybe the lens arrived damaged...
