I'm having another problem with regard to ASUS apps; specifically, ACMON.exe. Upon booting up right after I entered my username and pword, a blank screen shows up for 10-15secs and a windows pops out saying that ACMON.exe is missing or not responding if I remember it right.
I remember having a similar error which controldeck.exe as missing file or not responding upon boot up eating like 20 seconds. I deleted this which did the trick. Now, I'm thinking if ACMON.exe should be deleted as well. However, unlike controldeck.exe's trivial use, ACMON.exe runs Splendid Utility of Asus which is important in setting different types of Asus's display features.
Hope you can help here, fellow Asus users because these tiny things are really eating up my boot time which is really agitating. Thanks in advance.
Any updates about my case guys? Thanks![]()

I tried installing Advanced Systemcare, CC Cleaner, and other registry cleaners to fix this problem. These cleaners actually did repair the error, but after I restarted, I tried using these registry cleaners but ACMON.exe was found again. Same thing happened when I restarted my notebook. CC & iOBit repaired the "unused registry" and it's seen again when I restarted, like a vicious cycle....
How can I totally get rid of this ACMON.exe? I mean, I don't want to delete splendid utility because it is useful in setting the video and display enhancement of my screen's reception; but my boot-up time is really affected to a very great extent. Right after I typed my username and password, it takes like 1 minute for the black blank screen to disappear and proceed to my desktop which is really annoying... Any ASUS users out there who can give me a hand on this? Thanks.. -

ACMON is part of splendid, so I'm not sure how you'd get rid of that and keep the splendid utility.
ACMON.exe not responding display blank screen & significantly delays boot up time and viewing of desktop
