Do any Asus models use the AMD Turion procesor, or Aus only uses Intel platforms?

Someone just asked this a day or two ago. The answer is that ASUS is pretty loyal to Intel (i don't know of any that use AMD).

My gf got one.. W3Z. Turion 64 MT 32 =1.8ghz with x200 32mb. Nice one, I'd say (w3 super sexy body + 14'' + low low price)... You can see the specs here

Turion has been completely blown out of the water by dual core. You will not see any new built on asus or mobile asus in the states based on amd until amd comes out with a new or revised mobile cpu. Turion is simply old technology. Amd was never on top of their game when it comes to mobile cpu's. Go for intel

z92U, A6u, A6k, A6km, W3z and I'm sure there are many more that do. those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.
insane -
Turions also have come with weaker chipsets (DDR333, etc) and also weaker video cards for laptops (Ati Xpress200M, most of the time)

erll hopefull when AMD and nVidia and co get together with this Yomoto plan they are working on we'll see better graphics options for them
and better platforms
