This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     AMD axes ATI name.

    For all of us who have an ASUS notebook with ATI graphic card, it seems that we could be the last ones who has bought machines with ATI label on them.
    It seems that AMD is going to cancel the ATI brand name. :(
    In the near future all the cards will be labeled as AMD.

    It should not make any difference as the GPUs are still the same, but I feel very sorry that the well know brand name will not exist anymore. :eek:
