I have read the post that speculated the spec's of the VX1, and surprisingly they were for the most part correct:
Specifications
Platform: Intel Centrino Duo
CPU: Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 (2.0 ghz)
Chipset: Intel 945PM
WLAN: Intel 3945ABG
LCD Screen: Colour Shine Glare Type 15" SXGA + (1400 x 1050)
Graphics: nVIDIA GeForce 7400/ 512MB Turbocache
HDD: 120GB
ODD: DVD 9.5" Super-Multi Double Layer
RAM: 1GB DDRII – 667 MHz
OS: Windows XP Professional
Although a past post said this information before, ASUS is confirming it.
The only difference that i see is the 512 turbocached 7400 versus the 256 turbocached on the v6j, I am a bit disapointed.
Heres the official link (the article was released 5/2/06, yesterday):

unveil, not unvail
-
Wow, a V6J with a spraypainted cover
-
^Funny, as soon as I saw the title I said "I bet the only response is a correction of the spelling".
Here I stand. Correct.
This Lamborghini model... Gee, that's a really sad notebook to carry such a grandeur name. -

It's really cool competition against acer's Ferrari 4000 notebook (in terms of style, anyway).
-
meh, spelling is not my strong suit. Spell check is my friend (but not that annoying paper clip, he can go away). -
i saw a white lamborghini today. this would go nice with it.

Any pictures?Yes, I'll admit, I'm curious
ASUS "unvails" the VX1 lamborghini
