    Greetings,

I have ASUS 1005HA P, just received it today. I think I could like it, except I seem to have an issue with the 100mb LAN connection. Although the network connections view shows I have the full 100mb connection, in reality I am only getting about .5 mbs connection on downloads. I confirmed this with a speedtest. As a result, I feel like I am back on dial up, very slow downloads and it is not possible to watch streaming/flash video.

I know the connection is good since I can plug the cable into my desktop and get 220+mbs connection. So it seems to be a issue with the new netbook. Any ideas on how to fix the slow connection? I have considered reinstalling the LAN drivers or maybe checking the BIOS but have not really had to trouble shoot this kind of issue before so any advice is greatly appreciated!
