    Hi,

I don't know if anyone remembers the ASUS 1015T. It's one of the EEEPC "Seashell" models from circa 2010.

(This particular model sports an ATI Mobile Radeon 4200 or 4250 graphics card with 256 MB VRAM.)

The display would be great, if it were just configured properly. As some reviewers noted, some of the 1015 series seem to be calibrated too "blue" out-of-box.

I have 3 ways to manually calibrate the 1015T. I can use premade Windows color profiles, I can manually adjust the color using Windows settings, or I can use the AMD control centre to adjust color balance.

I am able to improve the situation somewhat using Windows or AMD calibration settings. However, when I adjust manually, I end up decreasing color saturation, so that the oranges and reds appear less 'vibrant.'

What I'm looking for is an automatic way to fix the color. I know that someone on the internet made a Windows color management profile for the 1015PW, named "Asus Eee PC 1015PW.icc."* I tried it, but it is far too "red."

Does anyone know of an ICC profile for the 1015T?

Are there any automatic methods or other methods that I could use?

If anyone has any questions about the overall performance of the device, let me know.

The only way to automatically and correctly calibrate the colors of a display is doing it with a hardware calibration tool like the Spyder puck. Otherwhise it won't lead you into nothing.

It is unfortunately not possible to "calibrate" it correctly by eye, they will cheat you.
And using a profile from another guy won't help neither, the laptop manufacturer uses different display panels for the same model.

ICC profiles are difficult to find for laptop panels. There are programs that allow you to adjust individual parameters, but we haven't seen or heard any feedback on them.
