    Hey Everyone:
If you own a G50,60,70 laptop the brackets for a 2nd hard drive are in.
If you missed out, email them, and have them notify you when they are back in stock, and they will.

Did you get yours shipped already? My order is sitting "In process" since the 14th.

I actually received mine a few days ago, ordered the day of my last post...

And, for the record, it came with 8 screws to mount the bracket and the hard drive.

Thanks again for the heads up!

I must have ordered it a few hours after you on the same day.
I thought we are living in a market-oriented economy, so if there is demand, there should be supply of goods. But I guess for Asus it is some kind of parallel universe where they dictate the market. There is also shortage of their products.

This site also stocks them. I had to buy it from here because the asus site only ships to the US and Canada...

Shipping was a rip off price of 17.65 euro to Australia...but I have no choice since Asus decided it would be a good idea to make it so damn hard to get their parts for international customers. Ordered it 10 days ago. Considering the exorbitant cost of shipping I'd expect it to be here by now! I checked the status of the order and it says 'awaiting parts'. The b@stards!

How much is shipping within the US? Would anyone be kind enough to buy one for me and send it to Australia? ><

OMG!! Because they don't ship to Australia I had to buy it from here

    http://www.asusparts.eu/shopping_cart.php?sort=3a

I just got mine and guess what? They didn't provide me with any god damn screws! I paid about $25 USD for shipping from Sweden which is a blatant rip off for a tiny little bracket and yet they can't provide me with any screws. Incompetent morons..

I wrote an email complaining but if they don't provide me with any would these be ok?

(can't believe I'm resorting to buying the screws...)
