In my A2D user's manual it says: " The built-in modem does not support the voltage used in digital phone systems. Do not connect the modem port to a digital phone system or else damage wil occur to the Notebook PC".

Does that mean that plugging in the cable connector from my DECT phone will screw-up the thing? What details should I pay attention to? I had an analogue line so far and when I changed it for a digital line all I had to do was change the phone (actually I noticed the cable connector has only 2 pins compared to the old one that had 4 active ones). I'm kinda puzzled, so a little help please... It would be stupid if a hi-tech piece of hardware like the notebook would only be compatible to old standards
