    I purchased a asus a8js last week. I know there are two kinds of LCD screens, AUO and CMO. which one is better? how to find out what type of screen of mine is? Thanks

    Search and download a free version of Everest. Can't remember the steps off the top of my head, but after running it, you can get your pc's info and see whether your laptop is AUO or CMO.

    If you bought the specific model A8JS-4S024P, you most likely have the CMO.

    Yup that's correct Google "Download Everest Home" which is the free version. From there just install it, and then click on display in Everest.

    Most people prefer the CMO. The question is, regardless of which one you have, are you happy with your screen?
