This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    You get a 3 month warranty on re-certified newegg Asus laptops.

    I suggest you get the 2 year upgrade from newegg for 109$. That's a very good deal imo.

    Edit: I forgot to mention, always have an external HD handy when buying a re-certified laptop and back up your file every week or two on a regular basis. Should do that with every laptop, but re-certified laptops are hit and miss.
